Role Overview


We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Part-time HR Administrator to join our team at Macro Recruitment.



About the Role


This is a part-time position initially on a casual basis, requiring 1-2 days of work per week. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing compliance and staff development within an educational institution.



Key Responsibilities



  • Maintaining and updating employee records with accuracy and efficiency;
  • Assisting with recruitment processes, including drafting job descriptions, posting ads, and scheduling interviews;
  • Handling employee queries related to payroll, policies, and entitlements in a timely and professional manner;
  • Ensuring adherence to employment laws, child safety standards, and certifications;
  • Facilitating staff performance reviews and professional development opportunities;
  • Mediating workplace conflicts and resolving staff grievances effectively;


Requirements



  • A minimum of 3 years' experience as an HR generalist in Australia, with a strong background in recruitment;
  • Familiarity with NSW employment laws and educational compliance standards;
  • Strong recruitment skills, including writing compelling job ads and conducting effective interviews;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex information clearly;
  • Problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities, with a focus on finding mutually beneficial solutions;
  • Organizational skills to manage tasks efficiently over a 1-2 day workweek.
