About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Steamcraft Specialist to join our workshop team in Brisbane, Australia. This is a full-time position working on day shift with opportunities for overtime.

This role offers the chance to utilize advanced fabrication techniques, including MIG and TIG welding, to produce high-quality equipment and components for various sectors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Interpret complex engineering drawings to bring projects to life
  • Perform high-quality welding on cast and mild steel components
  • Fabricate, repair, and refurbish industrial equipment and components
  • Build and install safety guard rails, structural frames, and custom fabrications
  • Operate a range of workshop machinery, hand tools, and welding equipment
Requirements:
  • Trade qualified - Certificate III in Engineering - Mechanical Trade
  • Solid experience with MIG and TIG welding, fabrication, and hot work practices
  • Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
  • A positive attitude and ability to work well with others
  • Current driver's license and reliable transport
