Job Summary

Des's Group, a family-owned business with over 50 years of experience in personal transport, is seeking a motivated and customer service-oriented Taxi Driver to join our team. As a Taxi Driver, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and enjoyment of our passengers, delivering exceptional customer service, and maintaining a safe and efficient working environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure the passenger receives a safe and enjoyable trip at all times
  • Deliver a level of service that exceeds our customers' expectations
  • Ensure smart working practices are followed to ensure good dollar return per km
  • Provide and maintain a safe workplace in accordance with OHS policies and procedures

Requirements

  • A full SA drivers licence (essential)
  • A Small Passenger Vehicle Driver Accreditation (not essential but an advantage)
  • A proven safe driving record
  • Well-developed personal communication skills
  • A high level of customer service skills
  • Good record keeping skills
  • Good money handling skills
  • The ability to listen and communicate well
  • A good understanding of Australian Road Rules
  • A good, sound working knowledge of the local town, streets, areas, and activities
