About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and customer-centric Dental Assistant to join our team at Palmerston Dental Surgery. Key Responsibilities:


  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with patients through excellent customer service
  • Prepare patients and facilities for dental treatment, ensuring a seamless and efficient experience
  • Deliver high-quality chairside assistance to our dentists, prioritizing patient comfort and safety
  • Provide instrument sterilization and infection control solutions, maintaining the highest standards of hygiene and compliance
  • Patient care from entry to the surgery, including recall management and follow-up


Requirements:


  • Minimum 1+ years' experience in dental assisting, with a strong focus on patient care and customer service
  • Cert III in Dental Assisting or equivalent qualification preferred
  • Ability to work calmly and professionally in a fast-paced environment, with a 'can-do' attitude and excellent communication skills
  • Organized with attention to detail, efficient in Microsoft Word and Outlook, and a proven track record of punctuality and reliability
