Launch and Satellite Systems Scheduler

Key Responsibilities:

The Launch and Satellite Systems Scheduler will be responsible for generating, managing, maintaining, updating and reporting launch, satellite systems schedules. This includes participating in planning, design, implementation of schedule risk management activities and associated functions.

Collaboration and Communication:

The successful candidate will collaborate with engineering, operations and production departments to review the product development programs and to contribute to planning, process development, decision making, resolution of issues and identification of and management of programmatic risks.

Reporting and Analysis:

The Launch and Satellite Systems Scheduler will manage and oversee schedule reporting including critical and driving path identification. They will also make recommendations to Product Heads and Program Managers on schedule improvement initiatives including the restricting and reprioritisation of activities to achieve deadlines.

Expertise and Analysis:

The successful candidate will act as an expert advisor to the Product Heads and Program Managers on forecasted program effects of proposed or realised change. They will also evaluate and provide analysis on subcontractor or partner schedule and performance claims.

Personal and Professional Development:

The Launch and Satellite Systems Scheduler will work with the Human Resources team to grow the Gilmour Space team as required. They will also maintain and grow their professional skillsets in the program management and scheduling profession.

Requirements:

The successful candidate will have sustained enthusiasm and interest in space technology and its application for space commercialisation and exploration. They will also have 5+ years' experience in a Program Management Office (or equivalent) developing and managing complex program schedules, ideally in a Defence and or Aerospace industry program.

Desirable Qualifications:

A Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline and NV1 Security Clearance are desirable qualifications for this role.
