We are seeking a skilled Environmental Solicitor to join our Brisbane Planning, Environment & Government Practice Group. As an experienced professional in this field, you will work closely with our team to advise and act for public and private sector clients on planning and development matters in Queensland.

With a diverse range of clients including large residential, industrial, and retail developers, resource companies, infrastructure providers, local governments, and entities in the gas and electricity fields, you will have the opportunity to gain significant experience in all aspects of town planning and environmental law in Queensland.

The role involves working on complex developments, advising on large-scale projects, and collaborating with our clients and their consultants to deliver outstanding outcomes. Your expertise will be valuable in navigating challenges in various courts, including the Planning & Environment court, Land Court, Supreme Court, Court of Appeal, and the High Court of Australia.

Key requirements include:

  • 1+ years of PAE through to senior solicitor level
  • Experience in one or more areas of Planning, Environment & Government preferred, or a significant interest in this area of law
  • Strategic and critical thinking capabilities
  • Ability to build relationships with clients and other members of the team
  • Ability to work autonomously on matters

We offer an estimated salary of AU$120,000 - AU$180,000 per annum based on experience, skills, and qualifications.
