We are seeking a highly skilled Demi Chef de Partie to join our team at DoubleTree by Hilton Hobart. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking food to the highest standards, ensuring seamless kitchen operations, and providing exceptional service to our guests.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare food for guests and team members efficiently, economically, and hygienically, adhering to standard recipes and procedures.
- Supervise work operations and support the Sous Chef or Chef de Partie in ensuring smooth kitchen operations and prompt service.
- Plan, prepare, and implement high-quality food and beverage products and set-ups in the restaurant.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene according to safe and sound procedures and established FSMS standards.
- Work effectively with recipes, standards, and plating guides.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Previous experience in a 5-star category hotel or individual restaurant with high standards.
- Familiarity with a variety of cooked food processing, storing, and receiving standards.
- Proficiency in pastry and bread baking techniques.
- Able to work with and consume all products and ingredients.
- Able to set priorities and complete tasks in a timely manner.
- Good leadership and training skills.
- Knowledgeable in HACCP.
