Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Retail Sales Associate to join our team at ASICS. As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, driving sales, and promoting our brand.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide outstanding customer service, ensuring a positive shopping experience for all customers
  • Drive sales through effective product knowledge, visual merchandising, and sales techniques
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve sales targets and meet business objectives
  • Stay up-to-date with product knowledge, including features, benefits, and technical specifications
  • Maintain a high level of product knowledge, including our latest releases and product lines
  • Contribute to visual merchandising and store displays to create an engaging shopping environment
  • Participate in stock management, including receiving, stocking, and maintaining inventory levels
  • Process transactions accurately and efficiently, handling cash, credit card sales, and returns
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing time efficiently
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures, including health and safety guidelines

Requirements

  • Previous retail sales experience, preferably in a similar customer-facing role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment, with a positive and flexible attitude
  • Basic math skills and accuracy when handling cash and credit card transactions
  • Ability to lift and move stock, with a physical ability to work on your feet for extended periods
  • Availability to work a full-time schedule, including weekends and public holidays
