Childcare Specialist

We are seeking a passionate and caring Childcare Specialist to join our team in Footscray. This is a permanent part-time position, working 25.25 hours per week all year round.

The successful candidate will have support from a Coordinator to seamlessly run before and after school care for children aged 5-12 years.

• Facilitate an engaging child-centered program full of exciting experiences such as STEM, sport, cooking, art and craft.
• Foster healthy relationships with children, the school, community, and parents.
• Work with a team of skilled Educators onsite.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• To enjoy working with kids.
• Strong and clear communication skills.
• To be a team player with a desire to become a service leader.
• To hold or be willing to obtain a national police check and a state check for working with children.
• To have obtained or be studying towards a Diploma qualification to work with kids in OSHC per ACECQA.
