
Professional Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy Specialist

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist to join our team. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality physiotherapy services to patients with musculoskeletal disorders and sports injuries.
About the Job:
This is a part-time role consisting of 32.25 hours per week. The successful candidate will work closely with the Principal Medical Officer to ensure the provision of a comprehensive and professional physiotherapy/rehabilitation service for entitled personnel.
The duties and responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to:
- Formulating, developing, and delivering individualised treatment programs using evidence-based practice, manual assessment, and clinical reasoning;
- Communicating effectively with patients to ensure informed consent for assessment and treatment, good understanding of their conditions, and maximisation of their rehabilitation potential;
- Advising medical officers on specialist physiotherapy recommendations;
- Managing and prioritising own clinical caseload efficiently and effectively;
- Providing complex clinical reports to supply clinical prognoses and comprehensive discharge planning for both referring sources and ongoing patient care under other health professionals.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, applicants must possess a degree in physiotherapy, along with additional specialist training or experience to postgraduate diploma level or equivalent. Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) is also mandatory.
Applicants should have relevant experience in the assessment and treatment of musculoskeletal disorders, sports injuries, and orthopaedic conditions. A valid membership registration number from the relevant professional body is required prior to submitting an application.
