Key to delivering exceptional health outcomes for Australians is a strong leadership role in overseeing recruitment, training and quality of the facilitation team. This requires working collaboratively with government departments to ensure disability inclusion reforms achieve their aims and objectives.

The successful candidate will lead a positive, supportive and collaborative working relationship with internal and external stakeholders, requiring a balanced understanding of priorities and pressures on various teams.

To be successful, you must have a deep understanding of child development, neurodiversity and disability, framed by a strengths-based approach.

  • You should be a degree-qualified allied health professional (e.g., psychologist, occupational therapist, physiotherapist, speech pathologist)
  • Have at least 10 years of experience working in or with schools
  • Be an effective leader who can build positive team cultures, support team members and enhance individual skills
  • Possess strong project management abilities and skilled in developing high-quality written materials collaboratively
  • Have exceptional communication and interpersonal skills and confidently engage with diverse stakeholders
  • Take initiative and work effectively under pressure with excellent attention to detail
