We are seeking a seasoned executive to spearhead the growth of our Western Australian mining operations.

About The Role

This is a high-profile leadership position for an experienced professional who will focus on securing and delivering utilities-related projects within the resources and energy sector, while leading a talented team and driving operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and grow the mining business in WA, focusing on utilities infrastructure for resources and energy.
  • Develop and implement business development strategies to secure new clients and projects.
  • Leverage industry networks to build strong, long-term client relationships.
  • Identify and capitalize on opportunities in power, water, and energy infrastructure supporting mining operations.
  • Oversee project delivery, ensuring quality, safety, and profitability.
  • Provide leadership, mentoring, and direction to technical and project teams.
  • Collaborate across multidisciplinary teams to maximize business opportunities.
  • Represent the organization at industry forums and client events.
About You
  • Proven track record in senior leadership within mining, resources, or energy-related industries.
  • Strong business development experience with success in winning utilities-focused projects (power, water, energy infrastructure).
  • Established client relationships within the mining and energy sectors.
  • Commercially astute with strong negotiation and contract management skills.
  • Excellent leadership and team management capability.
  • Tertiary qualifications in engineering, business, or a related discipline highly regarded.
