Western Health is seeking a dedicated and skilled Senior Pharmacist – Aged Care Team Lead to join our dynamic team. This is a permanent, full-time position available for a talented individual who can lead the safe and effective delivery of pharmacy services across the Aged Care Units.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement governance frameworks to ensure high-quality pharmacy services in aged care.
- Lead quality improvement initiatives within the division to enhance patient care and outcomes.
- Provide support, performance development, and managerial requirements to a group of pharmacists within the Aged Care Team.
- Collaborate with medical, nursing, and other health professionals to develop and monitor treatment plans, ensuring the best possible therapeutic outcomes.
- Provide education and mentorship to early career pharmacists, pharmacy interns, students, and rotational pharmacists within the Aged Care Team.
- Meet the changing operational demands of the service, including flexibility with working hours and the ability to work across various Western Health sites.
