About the Role
VMCH is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chef Manager to join our team. As a key member of our food services team, you will be responsible for leading a team of chefs and kitchen staff to deliver high-quality meals to our residents.
About You
We are looking for a candidate with a Certificate IV in Hospitality (Commercial Cookery) or higher, and experience in managing a team, menu planning, and food preparation. You will also need to have a comprehensive understanding of Food Safety Laws and Occupational Health and Safety in a kitchen environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a team of chefs and kitchen staff to deliver high-quality meals
- Manage menu planning and food preparation
- Ensure compliance with Food Safety Laws and Occupational Health and Safety regulations
- Develop and implement effective kitchen operations and procedures
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery
