About the Opportunity

We are seeking experienced and passionate Water Safety Professionals to join our team at the Mornington Peninsula Shire's $35mil Aquatic & Recreation Centre in Rosebud, VIC.

As a Water Safety Professional, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety of patrons within the facility. This includes maintaining a safe and enjoyable environment for all pool users, managing pool plant systems, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain a high level of water quality and ensure compliance with relevant regulations
  • Monitor and respond to emergencies, including rescues and first aid incidents
  • Provide exceptional customer service, resolving any issues or concerns promptly and professionally
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of safety policies and procedures
Requirements:
  • Certified Pool Lifeguard with current First Aid Certificate (Level 2) and CPR
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including mornings, evenings, and weekends
  • Previous experience in a comparable role is highly regarded but not essential
