Job Title: Community Garden Care Assistant

 

Job Description

The role of a Community Garden Care Assistant is to provide gardening and home maintenance services to customers in the Northern and Eastern suburbs.

You will be working as part of a small, friendly team, travelling from one client residence to another throughout the day performing activities such as lawn mowing, lawn edging, weeding, hedge trimming and general gardening duties according to a client plan.

Work vehicle and equipment are provided.

 

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • A valid manual drivers license is essential.
  • Ability to work with people with differing needs from diverse backgrounds.
  • Good communication skills, including verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated skills in garden maintenance.
  • A commitment to completing on-the-job training within stated timelines.
  • Ability to obtain police clearance prior to commencement.
  • Reliable with good timekeeping.
