We are seeking an experienced Palliative Care Program Developer to join our team at BaptistCare. This is a unique opportunity to develop, coordinate and deliver high-quality care and support programs for individuals living with life-limiting illnesses.

Salary and Benefits

The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary package, including a base salary of $85,000 per annum, plus superannuation and generous salary packaging benefits.

Job Description

This role involves developing, coordinating and delivering palliative care programs that meet the needs of our clients. You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to design and implement programs that provide holistic care and support to individuals and their families.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement palliative care programs that meet the needs of our clients;
  • Coordinate and lead a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care and support;
  • Collaborate with external agencies and stakeholders to ensure seamless delivery of services;
  • Provide education and training to staff and clients on palliative care best practices;
  • Maintain accurate records and reports to ensure effective program evaluation and improvement.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Social Work or a related field;
  • Minimum 3 years' post-graduate experience in palliative care and aged care;
  • Experience in service development, planning and implementation;
  • Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills;
  • A warm and compassionate manner;
  • A current driver's licence and commitment to travel within Central Coast/Hunter Region and Sydney regions.
