Software Platform Engineering Leader

About the Position:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage a team of engineers with varying levels of experience
  • Oversee project engagements to ensure timely delivery of milestones
  • Participate as technical lead on complex customer projects involving system architectures
  • Implement disciplined engineering processes and best practices
  • Integrate and maintain platform-oriented software stacks
  • Optimize Ubuntu for latest hardware platforms
  • Exhibit technical leadership within the organization and external communities
  • Contribute to code reviews and technical documentation

Qualifications:

  • Exceptional academic track record from both high school and university
  • Undergraduate degree in Computer Science or a related STEM field, or an equivalent narrative
  • Proficiency in C, C++, and Python programming languages
  • Experience with Linux and operational systems software (e.g., kernel or user space)
  • Experience with Debian/Ubuntu or other distro packaging
  • Proven experience in leading software engineering teams
  • Strong written and spoken English communication skills
