Design Engineer - Overhead/Underground

We're seeking a skilled Design Engineer to support the delivery of key infrastructure projects in North Central Victoria. As a key member of our team, you'll provide engineering expertise in scoping, designing, and cost estimating distribution, sub-transmission, and station projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide effective engineering design and advice in relation to underground lines, overhead lines, and substations
  • Assist with developing design standards and policies
  • Deliver projects of medium complexity within agreed time frames, quality, and cost constraints
  • Prepare cost and resource estimates for electrical distribution/sub-transmission/station system projects
Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical)
  • Eligible and working towards National Engineering Registration (NER) and Registered Professional Engineer of Professional Australia (RPEng)
  • Eligible and working towards being registered with the Business Licensing Authority (BLA)
  • Demonstrated experience in Distribution Design projects
