Key Role: Site Operations Manager

The primary function is to oversee site operations for commercial and residential projects in the SEQ region. Working closely with the Construction Manager, you will lead day-to-day site activities ensuring timely project delivery, high safety standards, and exceptional quality.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Manage site-based activities across multiple projects
  • Supervise subcontractors, trades, and internal teams to drive project outcomes
  • Collaborate in project planning, programming, and delivery processes
  • Prepare and review tenders, quotations, trade packages, and construction programs
  • Provide accurate estimations and contribute to cost control measures
  • Conduct thorough site inspections to ensure compliance with building codes
  • Oversee Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) practices, including audits, inspections, and equipment checks
  • Ensure risk assessments and safe work method statements are in place at all times
  • Promote a culture of accountability, quality, and safety on-site

Requirements:

  • Construction industry background
  • Current WHS General Safety Induction Card
  • Proven supervisory experience on commercial projects
  • Strong knowledge of construction methodologies and compliance regulations
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Project or similar software
  • Formal trade or construction qualifications
  • Excellent computer and reporting skills
