Job Title: Support Worker for Community Home Care
Job Description:We are currently looking for Support Workers to join our team in the Northern Rivers area.
This role involves travelling between clients' homes and assisting them with daily living and lifestyle requirements by providing person-centred care and support.
Key Responsibilities:- Domestic Assistance: Assist with light household cleaning, laundry and meal preparation.
- Social Support/Transportation: Accompany clients to social activities, assist with shopping/groceries and medical appointments.
- Supporting Customers: Assist customers with the use of aids including standing or walking frames and wheelchairs.
- Monitoring Well-being: Monitor the well-being of customers and report on their progress.
- Staff Meetings and Training: Participate in staff meetings and attend training as required.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Australian Federal Police Clearance
- Current CPR / First Aid Certificate
- NDIS Workers Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
- Current Australian Driver's Licence
- Reliable, registered and insured vehicle (comprehensive insurance is required)
