We are seeking a Lead/Senior Pipeline Engineer to join our collaborative team environment with varied clients and projects. The ideal candidate will have a passion for delivering engineering excellence and the ability to work independently while managing junior engineers.

Job Description
  • Provide technical support in the Engineering and Design processes for oil and gas pipelines.
  • Develop and support FEED and Designs studies including detailed design calculations.
  • Develop and support the development of scoping documents such as routing studies, construction methodology, design criteria and alignment sheets.
  • Participate in Risk assessment & SMS workshops.

The successful candidate will have a degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent and a minimum of 8 years' experience in pipeline design. They must be able to perform engineering tasks with minimal supervision and have proven experience in mentoring junior engineers.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A degree in Mechanical Engineering or other equivalent engineering degrees.
  • Minimum of 8 years' experience in the design of Oil & Gas pipelines and associated assemblies.
  • Proven Australian experience in pipeline design including concept development, FEED and detail design phases.
  • In-depth knowledge of AS2885 and other relevant Australian Standards, acts, regulations and codes related to the pipeline industry.
  • Engineers Australia Chartered Engineer or equivalent. Registered Professional Engineer of Queensland (current or eligible to attain).
