About the Role

This is a Senior Analyst – C&TB Program UNITE opportunity with one of the leading companies in Australia, Westpac, with an amazing team. They are continuing to grow rapidly, and this is the chance to join right as the transformation takes off.

Key Responsibilities
  • Data Analysis and Migration: Conduct in-depth data analysis and support the migration of data systems to drive operational efficiency.
  • Process Optimisation: Identify opportunities to streamline processes, reduce errors, and improve overall performance.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong partnerships with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment and collaboration.
  • Product Insights: Provide data-driven insights to inform product development and decision-making.

Requirements
  • Essential qualifications and experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in data analysis within the financial services industry, Advanced SQL skills, Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, Degree in a quantitative field (e.g. Statistics, Mathematics, Computing, Economics)
  • Desirable skills and experience: Experience with Python or R programming, Experience in data migration projects (preferred), Knowledge of data engineering techniques, Understanding of banking products and industry trends
