Electromechanical Specialist

Tesla is seeking a skilled and dynamic Electromechanical Specialist to join our team in Geelong, Australia.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with electrical systems, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Service, troubleshoot, or upgrade stationary battery equipment and medium to high voltage equipment as needed.
• Perform complex and precise electro-mechanical debug, rework and repair.
• Develop and follow best practices and procedures for various maintenance activities related to Tesla Energy equipment.
• Maintain high levels of communication and feedback within the Tesla Energy service organization.

Requirements:

• Certified Electrician (Cert III (3)+ in Electrical/Electro Technology).
• Minimum 5 years' experience, with at least 3 years' electrical experience within the Utility sector.
• Must have up-to-date Electrical Registration/Licence and HV Switching Certification.
• SCADA operating experience is a plus.

This role requires flexibility, strong computer skills, and the ability to work effectively in a mobile office setting. The successful candidate will be able to read and understand manufacturing instructions, electrical diagrams, and mechanical drawings.
