Job Title: Strategic Financial Specialist

Growth and employee development–focused employer is seeking a qualified Management Accountant to join their Commercial team in Adelaide.

The successful candidate will play a critical role in an exciting new greenfield mining project, supporting the delivery of accurate and timely financial information for decision-making.

About the Role:
  • Reporting to the Commercial Manager, the Management Accountant will collaborate with site-based operational teams and corporate functions to provide budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and performance analysis.
  • A strong focus will be placed on building relationships with stakeholders, adding value through financial insights, and supporting the achievement of business objectives.
About You:
  • Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or Economics
  • CPA or CA qualified (or actively working towards)
  • 3–5 years' experience in management accounting, finance business partnering, or business analysis (mining/resources sector experience highly regarded)
  • Strong analytical skills with proven experience in budgeting, forecasting, management reporting, and variance analysis
  • Advanced MS Excel and ERP system proficiency (PRONTO desirable); exposure to Power BI advantageous
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to partner effectively at both operational and corporate levels
  • Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet tight deadlines
