Job Overview

The ideal candidate will be the driving force behind our centre's operations, fostering a culture of excellence in every aspect. This leadership role involves managing daily centre activities, inspiring team members to deliver high standards of care and education.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Oversee centre operations, ensuring smooth day-to-day functioning, staffing, policies, and procedures are met.
  • SUPPORT AND COACHING: Provide guidance, mentorship, and professional development opportunities for Educators and Teachers to enhance their skills and grow professionally.
  • Develop engaging age-appropriate activities that cater to children's diverse needs and promote holistic growth.
  • Maintain a safe and healthy environment, adhering to all relevant laws and regulations.
  • Ensure centre compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Promote a positive, inclusive culture that values diversity, teamwork, and employee well-being.

Essential Skills and Qualifications

  • Diploma (or higher) in Early Childhood Education approved by ACECQA.
  • At least 3 years of experience working in a licensed childcare centre or similar setting, including time in a leadership role.
  • Current Working with Children Check.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with the team and prioritise tasks effectively.
  • Ongoing commitment to professional development.
