  • We are seeking a Support Worker to provide Personal Support Services, focusing on the provision of daily living assistance and promoting client autonomy.
  • Permanent Part-Time contracts are available, offering a competitive hourly rate of $32.56p/h + 11.5% superannuation.
  • Travel Allowance of $0.92 per KM, plus paid travel time, is provided to support our carers in their daily work.
  • Our services are available in Newcastle & Lake Macquarie NSW, and surrounding suburbs, including Mayfield, Sandgate, Wallsend, and more.

Key Requirements:

  • A current Australian Driver's License and ownership of a reliable, insured vehicle are essential.
  • Fully vaccinated against Covid-19, with a minimum of two doses, is a requirement.
  • Flexibility to work rosters between 7am and 7pm, Monday to Sunday, is necessary.
  • A minimum of 12 months experience in delivering Personal Care and/or a Certificate III in Individual Support is required.

Your New Role:

  • Personal Care: Assist with personal hygiene, toileting, showering, dressing, and mealtime support.
  • Help at Home: Provide assistance with cleaning, laundry, meal preparation, and assisted dressing.
  • Transport: Transport clients to appointments, shopping, and social outings.
  • Client Awareness: Foster social interaction, observe client needs, and provide ongoing training and support.

We welcome applicants with experience and/or qualifications in:

  • Disability Support Work
  • Assistant in Nursing (AIN)
  • Community Services work
  • Bachelor of Nursing Students
