Job Description

Join our esteemed culinary team as a Demi Chef, where you will play a pivotal role in the preparation and presentation of exquisite pastries, desserts, and baked goods.


In this position, you will work closely with the Head of Pastry to assist in daily kitchen operations, ensuring exceptional standards of taste, texture, and presentation.


As a key member of the pastry department, you will be responsible for maintaining strict hygiene and cleanliness standards, monitoring ingredient levels, and advising the Head of Pastry accordingly.


This is an outstanding opportunity to join a dynamic team and contribute to menu development and innovation while working collaboratively with the broader kitchen and food and beverage team.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Head of Pastry with daily operational duties within the pastry kitchen.
  • Prepare and produce high-quality pastries, desserts, and confectionery items following recipes and quality standards.
  • Operate commercial kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen environment.

Requirements:
  • Trades qualification in pastry arts or a related field.
  • Previous experience working in a pastry kitchen is highly desirable.
  • A strong passion for pastry arts and attention to detail in quality and presentation.
  • Familiarity with commercial kitchen equipment used in pastry production.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure within a team environment.
