Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to be part of TransGrid's nation-building renewable energy projects that provide on-demand energy and large-scale storage for generations to come.

You will be responsible for deploying and managing modern workplace systems, ensuring adherence to industry best practices and service level agreements. Your duties include configuring and supporting Microsoft 365 applications such as Intune, SCCM, Teams, Entra, Office, and OneDrive for Business.

You will also oversee the provisioning and management of both physical and virtual end-user computing endpoints, ensuring the Standard Operating Environment (SOE) is consistently updated to maintain optimal performance, application compatibility, and security.

About You

  • 4+ years of experience in Modern Workplace Engineer or related roles, demonstrating expertise in end-user computing, with a focus on Microsoft technologies.
  • Extensive knowledge of Microsoft 365 services, including Intune, Teams, SCCM, Autopilot, OneDrive for Business, and other modern workplace tools, along with proven experience in implementing and managing these solutions.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience, complemented by relevant Microsoft certifications (e.g., Microsoft 365 Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator).
  • Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for automation and configuration management, along with familiarity with virtualisation, networking, security, and identity management (e.g., Azure Active Directory).
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills in high-pressure environments, along with effective communication and collaboration abilities to engage stakeholders and work within a team.
  • Familiarity with ITIL concepts and experience using ITIL-based ticketing systems (preferably ServiceNow).
