**Job Summary:**

We are seeking an experienced Aboriginal Maternal Infant Care Specialist to join our dedicated team of healthcare professionals. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive antenatal, birthing, and postnatal care to Aboriginal women and their families, with a focus on cultural sensitivity and tailored support.

**Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver culturally sensitive and respectful care to Aboriginal women and their families throughout pregnancy, birth, and postnatal periods.
  • Work collaboratively with midwives, doctors, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless continuity of care.
  • Provide education and support to families on healthy pregnancy, childbirth, and parenting practices, with a focus on cultural relevance.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with community groups and services to promote access to healthcare services and resources.

**Requirements:

  • Certificate IV in Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander Primary Health Care Practice (HLT40213) or equivalent qualification.
  • Registration as an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health Practitioner by the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health Practice Board of Australia and holding a current practicing certificate.
  • At least 2 years' experience working in a similar role, preferably in a rural or remote setting.

**Salary Package:

The successful candidate will receive an annual salary ranging from $76,561 to $80,256, depending on experience and qualifications. In addition, they will enjoy a range of benefits, including flexible working arrangements, professional development opportunities, and a supportive work environment.
