Salary

The estimated salary for this position is $163,646 to $183,034 per annum, inclusive of $138,282 to $154,666 salary per annum, 17% superannuation and 17.5% recreation leave loading.

Job Description

We are seeking a Manager, Cloud Infrastructure to join Digital Business Solutions, Administrative Division. The Manager, Cloud Infrastructure leads QUT's Cloud Platform Services and infrastructure, ensuring system reliability, support, and cost efficiencies are maximised to provide world class performance to our staff and students.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Education, training and/or relevant experience equivalent to the completion of postgraduate qualification in Information Technology with extensive experience managing cloud & virtualised platforms such as VMWare, AWS, Azure or GCP.
  • Proven success in leading and managing technical teams maintaining a coherent team culture focused on achieving organisational goals.
  • Demonstrated expertise with modern software continuous integration and continuous deployment practices and an ability to research, critically appraise and evaluate new technologies and approaches.
  • Proven planning and organisational skills, with experience establishing own and team workflow priorities, and working across a diverse number of initiatives within tight and competing timelines.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain productive and collaborative working relationships, including the ability to develop and present concepts and negotiate with and influence a diverse range of stakeholders.
