Administrative Coordinator for Health and Safety

As a pivotal role in our construction project, the Administrative Coordinator for Health and Safety will be responsible for providing exceptional administrative support to our dedicated Health and Safety team.

This exciting opportunity involves acting as the primary point of contact for all administrative requirements of the HS team, ensuring seamless coordination of hazard and incident reporting systems, compliance with data filing, record-keeping, and archiving requirements.

The successful candidate will be required to assist with the preparation of toolbox and pre-start materials, Health and Safety presentations, and training workshops. They will also be responsible for uploading key documentation to our SharePoint file structure to support Health and Safety weekly and monthly reporting requirements.

A key aspect of this role is participating in regular Health and Safety team meetings to discuss Health and Safety concerns and required action items. Additionally, the Administrative Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating safety information and supporting the preparation of safety performance reports.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Minimum 1-3 years' experience in a safety, WHS, or HSEQ administration role, ideally in mining, resources, or construction, or related heavy industries.
  • Certificate IV in Workplace Health, Safety and Environment, or equivalent.
  • Current National Police Check.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with various stakeholders.
  • Ability to work a site-based roster e.g., 15:6 or 10:4 roster.
