Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Technical Support Expert to join our team at Amazon Web Services. As a Technical Support Expert, you will be responsible for providing technical support to our customers, helping them to get the most out of their AWS services.
The ideal candidate will have experience with database administration, system administration in Linux and/or Microsoft Windows Server, and networking and troubleshooting.
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support to customers via phone, email, and web/live chat.
- Apply advanced troubleshooting techniques to resolve customer issues.
- Work with customers to identify and resolve complex technical issues.
- Cross-train on multiple AWS services and products.
Requirements:
- Experience with database administration (PostgreSQL, Oracle, Amazon Aurora).
- Experience with system administration in Linux (Ubuntu, CentOS, RedHat) and/or Microsoft Windows Server.
- Experience with networking and troubleshooting (TCP/IP, DNS, routing, firewalls or LAN/WAN).
- Familiarity with best practices for applications, servers, and networks.
