We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Paediatric Registrar/Advanced Trainee to join our team in Canberra's largest medical facility.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide general paediatric services to approximately 450 inpatients and 1000 outpatients each month.
  • Support and supervise junior medical staff, providing clinical, leadership, and education responsibilities.
  • Work in a busy 18 room outpatient department with 48 in-patient paediatric beds (High Care, Medical, Adolescent and Surgical).
About the Role

This is an incredible opportunity to work in a high acuity environment with over 89,000 presentations annually. The facility has an admission rate of more than 35% and provides a wide range of services across more than 25 buildings on its campus.

You will have the chance to provide care to all major medical specialties, including oncology, cardiology, gastroenterology, nephrology, infectious diseases, neonatology, paediatric gastroenterology, palliative care, rehabilitation, respiratory, pain specialists, and various surgeon specialties.

Eligibility
  • General, Provisional or limited registration with AHPRA or eligible to obtain.
  • IMGs that have completed at least the AMC MCQ (part 1) or completed both AMC 1 & 2 (clinical exam).
  • IMGs eligible via the Competent Authority Pathway (training in the UK, USA, NZ, Canada or Ireland).
  • IMGs assessed by RACP College as partially or substantially comparable.
