About the Role


We are seeking motivated individuals to join our team as casual Services Assistants at Yorke and Northern Local Health Network in Jamestown. This role offers a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, providing exceptional services to clients.


In this position, you will be responsible for delivering timely and efficient catering and cleaning services, including food preparation, service, and delivery. You will also assist with general housekeeping duties such as laundry and maintenance of the health unit.


The ideal candidate will possess strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to relate to people from diverse backgrounds and cultures. Flexibility and adaptability are essential in this role, as you will need to adjust to changing work schedules and priorities.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality catering services to clients, including food preparation and presentation
  • Maintain a clean and hygienic environment, adhering to health and safety standards
  • Assist with general housekeeping duties, including laundry and maintenance
  • Work collaboratively with the team to achieve common goals and objectives


What We Offer:

  • A competitive hourly rate: $27.93 - $28.23 per hour, plus 25% casual loading (WHA2)
  • Casual contracts available for 29 March 2024 to 28 March 2025

Requirements:

  • Limited experience in housekeeping, cooking/catering, and laundry is required
  • Ability to work well in a team environment, adapting to changing situations and priorities
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to relate to people from diverse backgrounds and cultures
  • Flexibility and adaptability, with a willingness to work varying shifts and rosters
