Academic Leader for Health and Physical Education

The Academic Leader for Health and Physical Education will spearhead the development of a comprehensive program for both subjects from Year 7 to Year 12 at an independent institution.
Key Responsibilities- Develop a clear strategic vision for the Health and PE Faculty that fosters confidence, curiosity, and teamwork capabilities among students.
- Promote innovation and continuous improvement in Health and PE programs to ensure they remain contemporary, challenging, and engaging for students of all abilities.
- Guide and support staff through collaboration, professional growth, and the development of effective learning pathways from Year 7 to VCE.
- Build a culture of teamwork, open communication, and shared achievement within the Faculty.
- Establish a vibrant community through co-curricular activities, events, and active engagement with staff, students, and families, celebrating the positive impact of physical activities and lifelong skills.
Registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching or the ability to gain registration is essential for this position.
