About the Role

We are seeking a High Voltage Operating Authority (HVOA) Manager to join our team. As CPP's HVOA Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the competency of high-voltage electrical operations across multiple projects.

Key Responsibilities

You will be responsible for:

  • Approving switching sheets and authorizing the re-energization of equipment
  • Ensuring that all high-voltage activities are carried out safely and efficiently
  • Overseeing our HV electricians and working closely with project teams
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Recipient in Charge permit holder
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant industry experience
  • Strong decision-making skills with the ability to make critical judgments regarding high-voltage operations

You will also have familiarity with Electrical Safety Acts/Rules and Regulations applicable to Australian States, as well as strong knowledge of HV substation operations and maintenance.
