About the Role:

The Plant Operations Manager will play a key role in ensuring the efficient and safe operation of our plant and equipment. Reporting to the Branch General Manager, you will lead a dedicated team of maintenance professionals to drive operational excellence and continuous improvement activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the direct manager for our maintenance team, ensuring that all plant and equipment operate efficiently and safely to operational capacity.
  • Lead the completion of preventative maintenance schedules through the CMMS.
  • Identify efficiency improvements and assist with any plant upgrades and installations.
  • Oversee contractor management for all contractors working onsite.
  • Ensure all work is completed within budget parameters.
  • Maintain compliance with health, safety, and all applicable regulations.

What We're Looking For:

We are seeking a proven leader with experience managing a team of tradespeople and contractors, preferably in a plant maintenance-based environment.

A strong people manager with the ability to motivate and support a diverse team is required.

Tertiary or Trade qualifications in Engineering (Electrical or Mechanical) with hands-on experience with root cause analysis and problem-solving abilities are essential.
