Aeronautical Engineering Position

We are seeking a skilled Aeronautical Engineer to support our E-7 project within the Sustainment Engineering team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Continuing Airworthiness Management and 21J Design activities for E-7A sustainment Mechanical Systems engineering;
  • Development, review, and approval of design artefacts, repairs, technical safety, and engineering in accordance with the approved Engineering Management System;
  • Interacting with stakeholders from operators, contractors, and aircraft OEM to support customer needs;
  • Leading engineering-based projects in support of Minor and Major Mechanical Projects;
  • Providing onsite engineering support to deeper maintenance activities;
Requirements:
  • Tertiary qualification in Aeronautical, Aerospace, Mechanical, Mechatronics or related engineering field meeting Engineers Australia (MIEAust) requirements;
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in aviation engineering focused on Technical Services;
  • Familiarity with engineering change processes;
  • Registered Professional Engineer of Queensland (RPEQ) in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering, or eligible to obtain;
  • Experience working under DASR or equivalent regulatory environment is desirable;
