Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Fitness Trainer and Assessor to join our team.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering training programs using extensive knowledge and past experience.

The qualification we deliver includes:

  • Diploma of Sports and Recreation Management
  • Certificate III and IV Fitness

Key Responsibilities

Our trainers and assessors are required to:

  • Inspire and deliver assigned programs with confidence and expertise
  • Provide support and feedback to ensure successful completion of programs
  • Monitor, mark, and conduct student assessments with accuracy
  • Plan, review, and improve training and assessment processes
  • Participate in assessment validation, moderation, and continuous improvement initiatives

Requirements and Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • Diploma of Fitness or an appropriate higher education degree
  • Current membership of an Australian fitness professional body
  • Language, Literacy and Numeracy level suitable for teaching others
  • A strong understanding of learning theory, particularly in course delivery for adults and higher education
  • Minimum 2 years industry/professional experience
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116) or higher
