Casual VE Teacher, Aged Care, Disability Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Casual VE Teacher to join our team in Aged Care and Disability Services. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching programs, assessing student learning, and providing support to students in a variety of settings.
Key Responsibilities:- Teaching and Assessment: Prepare and deliver teaching programs, including training packages, in a professional and effective manner. Assess student learning and maintain accurate records of student progress and assessment.
- Student Support: Identify students at risk and assist in developing strategies to improve student learning. Provide pre-course advice to students and assist with student selection and induction.
- Industry Engagement: Promote our programs and services to relevant clients and establish effective industry contacts. Participate in consultancy work for the school, including developing learning materials and providing services.
- Compliance: Ensure that teaching and learning documentation is accurately recorded and accessible to support program administration and evidencing alignment with ASQA requirements.
- Qualifications: TAE50116 Diploma of VET or equivalent qualification accepted by RMIT. Certificate IV in Disability and/or Advanced Diploma of Community Sector Management.
- Experience: Demonstrated experience in competency-based assessment and teaching in a VET environment. Strong industry connections and experience in promoting programs and services.
- Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Strong presentation and facilitation skills, with the ability to use flexible teaching methods.
