Early Childhood Education & Care Professional

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Trainee Educator in Early Childhood Education & Care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain a safe environment for children, families, and colleagues.
  • Ensure compliance with National Quality Standards (NQS) and relevant policies and procedures.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with children and families.
  • Contribute to the education program in the room and centre team.
  • Support a culture of reflective practice and ongoing continuous improvement.
  • Enhance a professional and positive work culture.

To be eligible for this traineeship, applicants must not hold a previous Certificate or Diploma qualification completed outside of secondary school in the last 7 years. Individuals who have completed a school-based certificate other than in childcare remain eligible.

Essential Skills and Qualifications

  • A valid right to work in Australia.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Effective time management and organisational abilities.
  • Ability to work well individually and as part of a team.
  • Enthusiasm and a positive attitude.
  • Flexible availability.
  • Interest in early years education.
  • A Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain one).
