Job Title:

Strategic Data Architect

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Strategic Data Architect to play a key leadership role in guiding data-driven decision making and policy development.


Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and manage the delivery of data analysis, policy briefs, and stakeholder engagement
  • Provide high-level technical, professional, and policy advice on complex issues
  • Research and implement innovative analytical techniques and methodologies
  • Design and deploy advanced statistical, mathematical, and data science models
  • Collaborate across multiple teams and functions to address evolving business challenges

Requirements:
  • Extensive experience in data analytics/data science supporting government policy development
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and proven leadership/team management skills
  • Advanced R & Python programming, including data manipulation, analysis, and model development/deployment
  • Proficiency in SQL and working with databases/data storage (e.g. AWS S3)
  • Experience with version control (git)
  • Strong understanding of advanced modelling techniques in a policy context
  • Knowledge of statistical modelling (e.g. GLM) or machine learning techniques (e.g. gradient boosting)
  • Experience applying technical skills to open-ended and evolving business problems
