About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Executive Officer to provide professional, policy, organisational and operational support to the Executive Director, Training Services NSW. The successful candidate will have the ability to manage complex, confidential and often highly contentious issues and provide considered, strategic advice and solutions within tight timeframes.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality policy and governance advice to the Executive Director and other stakeholders
- Manage a high work volume across a diverse range of programs
- Develop and implement effective solutions to complex problems
- Liaise and consult with other areas of the Department and external stakeholders
Requirements
- Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to the value of public education
- Advanced problem-solving and collaboration capability
- Ability to manage complex, confidential and often highly contentious issues
- Knowledge of and commitment to implementing the Department's and upholding the and to ensure quality outcomes for Aboriginal people
