Job Title: Digital Content Producer for Breaking News

Description:
A career opportunity has arisen for a skilled digital content producer to join our team and contribute to the production of breaking news stories. As a digital content producer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our online audience receives timely and accurate information.

Key Responsibilities:
- Understand the immediacy of the digital and television news environments and leverage broadcast content for digital assets
- Identify newsworthy opinion and interview content from our television channels and deliver it to our online audience quickly and accurately to drive this content into the news cycle
- Convert broadcast content into digital-ready video for online and social media, leveraging all available platforms to turn a Sky News interview or exclusive into a national news story
- Stay up-to-date with current global events and national issues to inform your work as a digital content producer
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective strategies for reaching our online audience

Requirements:
- Strong understanding of the digital and television news environments
- Ability to work effectively during early mornings and late nights
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Experience in a busy newsroom environment is advantageous but not essential
