Nova Ford is a multi award winning Ford Master Dealer with a dedicated and friendly team of specialists.

We are seeking an Automotive Pre Delivery Detailer to join our team in Caboolture, Brisbane.

Delivering 70+ new cars and 25-30 used cars per month, this is a crucial role within the business. We strive to deliver our customers the car of their dreams, at the highest quality and cleanliness.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Washing vehicle exterior, cleaning interior and exterior windows, and wiping down doorjambs.
  • Vacuuming interior of vehicles to remove loose dirt and debris.
  • Cleaning upholstery, carpets, and other surfaces using appropriate cleaning agents, applicators, and cleaning devices.
  • Applying revitalisers and preservation/protection agents to interior vinyl or leather surfaces and treating fabrics with spot and stain-resistant chemicals.
  • Cleaning engine and engine compartment with pressure washer equipment and various cleaning agents.
  • Inspecting vehicles for noticeable defects, such as dents, scratches, torn upholstery, and poor mechanical operation, and reporting back to management in a timely manner.
  • Using proper eye, hand, and body protection when using products that require protection.
  • Filling vehicles with fuel and/or recharging EVs as required.
  • Applying dressing on tyres and wheel wells.
  • Ensuring proper stickers are displayed in the vehicle's windows.
  • Keeping work areas neat and clean.
  • Storing parts in a safe and organised manner.
  • Operating all tools and equipment in a safe manner.
  • Reporting any safety issues immediately to management.
  • Delivering finished/prepared vehicles to the showroom on time and of the highest quality.
  • Other tasks as assigned.

To be considered, it is essential that you have previous Vehicle Detailing experience and hold a valid Queensland Drivers licence. The ability to apply paint protection to auto body and buffing experience will be highly regarded.
