The role of a Strategic Insurance Portfolio Manager is crucial in driving business growth and managing customer relationships. The position requires a seasoned professional with experience in account management, insurance domain, and business development activities in the IT service industry.

Key responsibilities include managing, retaining, and developing insurance accounts/portfolio, serving as primary management contact and client liaison, and managing client expectations. Additionally, the successful candidate will identify strategic initiatives to help clients' business achieve their goals and drive transformational programs.

To be successful in this role, one must possess strong knowledge of technology and business segments within the financial services sector, thorough domain knowledge with awareness/expertise in latest digital innovations in the insurance industry, and ability to build partnership ecosystem with vendors and Insurtech. Experience working on onsite/offshore model and large IT project implementations is also desirable.

A successful Strategic Insurance Portfolio Manager will have a proven track record of improving business performance and winning deals, excellent negotiation, communication, and facilitation skills, and ability to work with multi-cultural and geographically distributed teams.

Requirements:

  • 12+ years of experience in account management, insurance domain, Superannuation domain, business development activities in IT service industry
  • Strong knowledge of technology and business segments within the financial services sector
  • Thorough domain knowledge with awareness/expertise in latest digital innovations in the insurance industry
  • Ability to build partnership ecosystem with vendors and Insurtech
  • Experience working on onsite/offshore model
  • Experience in large IT project implementations
