Job Summary

This is a senior role in our service, responsible for coordinating the growth of our Child Safety stream.

The successful candidate will lead by example and implement systems to support workers in delivering quality services. They will also communicate effectively with children with complex needs and keep internal and external stakeholders informed.

Other key responsibilities include ensuring reporting deadlines are met, incidents are recorded and closed, and client files are accurate and up to date.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Previous experience working with vulnerable and at-risk children in a senior or supervisory role.
  • Ability to lead, manage, train and mentor team members.
  • Ability to plan and coordinate client care.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal) with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to work effectively, respectfully and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Demonstrated time management skills and ability to multi-skill duties to maximise productivity.
  • Demonstrated continuous improvement approach.
  • Current disability worker screening check and Blue Card.
  • A current, unrestricted Queensland Driver's Licence.
  • A National Police Certificate.
