About the Role

Belgravia Leisure is seeking a skilled and friendly Café/Kiosk Attendant to join our team. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive experience for our patrons.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide outstanding customer service and respond to customer inquiries in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Maintain the appearance and presentation of the café, including cleaning and restocking as needed.
  • Replenish condiments and supplies to ensure a seamless customer experience.
  • Follow health and safety guidelines and protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Operate a cash register and handle customer transactions with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Apply sound cash handling principles and use of Point of Sale (POS) systems to minimize errors and maximize customer satisfaction.
  • Promote the centre's services and programs to our patrons and develop good working relationships.
  • Provide information on our product range, including promoting healthy food options and answering customer questions.
  • Ability to work mornings, evenings, and weekends, with flexibility to adapt to peak periods.

Requirements

  • Positive, friendly, and helpful work style with excellent communication skills.
  • Coffee making and barista skills, with a Food Handling Certificate and current First Aid Certificate (Workplace Level 2).
  • Current CPR Certificate and Police Check, with a Working with Children Check.
  • Ability to be flexible and adapt to changing circumstances, with a customer-focused mindset.
