Job Summary

The Program Financial Analyst plays a critical role in supporting the Finance Operations team at Leidos. This position requires a highly skilled financial professional to provide expert financial advice and reporting services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with the business to provide sound financial advice and support organizational goals.
  • Conduct monthly variance analysis and financial reporting across programs and overheads.
  • Compile and review budgets and forecasts using actual performance and previous budget figures.
  • Coordinate multiple financial cost analysis functions, including cost allocation, cost control systems, and data collection.
  • Liaise with the business for accurate cost allocations and cost rates, ensuring compliance with Cost Principles.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor's Degree in a related discipline, coupled with demonstrable finance experience (2-4 years) from a project-based, complex business environment.
  • Strong working knowledge of MS Office suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and experience working with systems such as CostPoint or similar complex ERPs.
  • Knowledge of financial management, reporting, and governance, with a focus on cost control and budgeting.
  • Ability to understand financial concepts, identify issues, and develop relationships to achieve company objectives.
